Measure your dog's neck circumference (A) with a flexible measuring tape placed around the middle of the neck. The measuring tape should fit snugly, but not constrict the dog – about a finger's width of space between the tape and the skin.
The adjustability specifications usually overlap slightly, so you do not necessarily have to use the first or last hole.
If the neck circumference is at the upper end of the specified measurements, alternatively choose the next larger size, especially for still growing dogs.
Collar sizes at HUNTER (e.g. size 30) refer to the total length of the material without buckle/prong closure. The first value indicates the smallest, the second value the largest adjustment range.
In addition to the length, also check the adjustment ranges, so that your dog's chest circumference and growth are taken into account.
If you are between two sizes, it is better to choose a larger size for plenty of freedom of movement.
