Catz Finefood recipes are based on the mouse as the cat's natural prey. This means that the nutritional profile of the cat's natural prey is replicated – the recipes therefore consist mainly of fresh meat and a small proportion of vegetables and fruit (corresponding to the stomach contents of a mouse).
Cats are carnivores, and their digestive system is therefore significantly different from that of herbivores. This is why the most digestible and beneficial diet for cats must necessarily consist predominantly of meat.
However, it should be noted that animal proteins are not all the same: muscle meat and offal are significantly more nutritious than inferior slaughter by-products. Therefore, Catz uses exclusively fresh muscle meat and offal in its wet food. No animal derivatives are used.
Furthermore, Catz recipes contain no cereals and only a few clearly declared ingredients, making the food suitable for cats with sensitive digestive systems or food allergies.
Catz No. 7 with veal contains tender muscle meat as well as highly nutritious offal such as heart and liver, which are processed and combined with apricot and pineapple. This wet food also contains healthy linseed oil and taurine, which is extremely important for cats.
